Happy Mildly Belated New Year

First:
We are so excited to announce we are hosting a series of pop-up installations in CASE W250 (the same space as the Barbed Wire Fence Phone exhibit) from January 27, 2025 until January 2026.
The first of these pop-ups, called “Other Networks,” will feature functioning communication technologies before and outside of the internet. For example, “Other Networks” will showcase our small collection of French Minitel computers along with a demonstration of the MInitel network, telephone systems, fax machines, ham radios and walkie talkies, mesh networks, etc. Throughout the course of the pop-up we will host demonstrations and events. The exhibition will be open daily, Monday through Friday, for independent exploration, research, and play. Daily hours will be posted here on our calendar and events will be added to the main CU events calendar with the hashtag #MALpopup.
We will have a drop-in reception on Friday January 31st from 12pm to 4pm. Stop by and experience life outside the internet!
Second:
We still have a t-shirt pre-order running!
